The optional heating assembly is intended to take the chill out of the indoor air when the air is a few degrees too cool for comfort. It is not a substitute for a furnace. The heater capacity is approximately 1,650 watts or 5,600 BTUH, which is the maximum allowed on a standard 20 amp circuit breaker.
